To give Thomas Sholl, whose contract was already extended during the season, more relief in the upcoming season, the "Wolves" have signed Jacob Smith. The 27-year-old was already playing in the last six seasons in South Tyrol, first at HCB Südtirol Alperia (3 seasons), then in Val Gardena (2) and Ritten (1).

"I am very happy to be able to come to Bruneck. The feeling when I entered the new arena for the first time was incredible, just great! I really wanted to come back to the ICE Hockey League and I heard only good things about the HCP, the city of Brunico and the fans. I can't wait to get started," Smith said.

The contract with Hannes Stoll was also extended, as the only 22-year-old is still in the midst of the development process and has impressively proven his talent and reliability, it says in the press release of the "Wolves". Stoll will also play for an HCP cooperative club in the Alps Hockey League next season.
