Pustertal extends championship lead in Master Round
Thanks to a 2:1 home win over the Rittner Buam after a shootout, the HC Pustertal Wölfe came a big step closer of winning the Master Round. With 19 points, they are already four points ahead of the first pursuer S.G. Cortina Hafro. In a level game the first goal was scored in the 47th minute in the powerplay for Pustertal. Ritten equalized six minutes before the end of the game. Massimo Carozza scored the decisive penalty in the shootout. Ritten falls back to fourth place due to the defeat.

Cortina defeats Ljubljana and climbs to second place
The S.G. Cortina Hafro beat HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana and climbed to second place in the table. The guests from Ljubljana took the lead in the first period. In the second period Cortina scored the equalizer. After eleven minutes in the final period Cortina scored the decisive goal. It was only Cortina's second win over Ljubljana in the eighth duel. In the table, the gap to Pustertal is four points. HKO is third in the table and is already six points behind the top of the table.

Jesenice celebrates clear victory over Asiago
In the third game of the Master Round, the HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice won against Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey with 4:1. Jesenice scored all four goals in the opening period. The first period was won by the guests, no further goals were scored in the final period. Asiago and Jesenice both have eleven points. It was the second win in a row for the home side.

Juniors wit defeat against Lustenau
In the Qualification Round A, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors missed the early qualification for the playoffs. The league leaders lost at the EHC Lustenau with 0:6. For Lustenau it was the first win after five defeats in a row. The Young Bulls lost for the second time in a row. Man of the game was Christopher D'Alvise with three goals. Despite the defeat, RBJ is still clearly on top of the table (21 points). The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan follow in second place with 16 points. The EHC is fourth with twelve points.

The Broncos celebrated a 6:3 home win over HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. Both the WSV and GHE have 16 points. In the surprisingly clear home win, Mathieu Lemay excelled with four goals and one assist. The Canadian already scored 22 points in the Qualification Round and is therefore at the top of the scorer ranking.

In the afternoon, the EC-KAC II celebrated a clear 4:1 home win over the Vienna Capitals Silver and secured fifth place in the table. In the fourth minute of the game, the guests from the federal capital took the lead, but the hosts were able to turn the game in the first third. In the second and third stages of the game, the Carinthians made significant progress.

Feldkirch also has to wait for the playoff qualification
The leader of the Qualification Round B, the VEU Feldkirch, won with 6:0 at the Steel Wings Linz, but since the SHC Fassa Falcons also won their game at the EK Die Zeller Eisbären, the Vorarlberger were not yet allowed to cheer yet. VEU's lead over FAS is four points two games before the end.

Fassa won with 3:2 at EK Die Zeller Eisbären. The guests were already leading 3:1, but the EKZ reduced it to 2:3 in minute 42. As a result, however, Zell am See was no longer able to equalize, which is why Fassa still has the chance to qualify for the playoffs. Feldkirch is four points behind. The EKZ is in fourth place and has no chance to qualify for the postseason.

In the third game of the Qualification Round B, the EC "Die Adler" Stadtwerke Kitzbühel won 4 2 at the EC Bregenzerwald. It was the fifth consecutive win for the Tyroleans. All six goals in the game were scored in the final section.
