David Farrance is 27 years old and was part of the US National Team development program throughout his youth career before making the step into professional hockey. Prior to his time at Boston University, Farrance competed at numerous international tournaments and also won gold at the 2017 IIHF U18 World Championship.

After receiving several individual honors and being selected in the 2017 NHL Draft, Farrance made two appearances for the Nashville Predators during the 2020/21 season affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Between 2021 and 2024, the 180 cm, 86 kg defenseman mainly signed contracts in the AHL. In January 2024, he made his first move to Europe, joining the Panthers of ERC Ingolstadt.

In 2024/25, Farrance moved to Finland to play for KooKoo. With 37 points and an outstanding +25 rating, he made his breakthrough in European hockey. In 2025/26, he joined KHL side Sibir Novosibirsk before returning to the DEL in January with the Augsburg Panthers. Now, the defenseman is heading to Bruneck to join last season’s finalists.

Jan Muršak enters fourth season with KAC
The 38-year-old forward has so far worn the EC-KAC jersey in 133 league games, recording 142 points. The center, who had originally planned to retire from professional hockey this summer, changed his plans. After returning from his vacation in the United States, he accepted the club’s offer to continue their cooperation. The agreement, which has now been signed, includes both a role as a player for the upcoming season and a future position within the KAC organization starting next summer.
