Arvin Atwal joins the Pusterer Wolves from the Bietigheim Steelers. The 27-year-old Canadian brings quite a bit of experience to Bruneck and is considered a tough defender. Via the junior league WHL followed the jump to overseas professional field hockey. In five years, Atwal collected 221 appearances in the ECHL (96 points, 770 penalty minutes) and 31 in the American Hockey League. The move to Europe followed for the 2021/22 season. In Slovakia (Spisska Nova Ves), the 183 cm x 93 kg defender earned a DEL contract with the Bietigheim Steelers. There, Arvin Atwal once again showed great fighting and team spirit, but was unable to prevent the Steelers' relegation from the DEL. Now the right defender comes to Bruneck

Arvin Atwal: "I'm really looking forward to coming to Pustertal and hope that I can get the fans off their seats a time or two with my style of play. Here's to a hopefully gripping season."
