The winger's path led via junior hockey in his home country to appearances in the highest league, but mainly in the "Allsvenskan" (2nd division). The Swede was always part of the junior selections (U16-U20) of the "Tre Kronor". In 2020, he moved to the iClinic Bratislava Capitals. Ahl convinced both in his ICE premiere season and with HC Orli Znojmo in the past campaign.

Pustertal's sports director Patrick Bona: "Filip is a complete player who is physically strong, technically very adept and has a good scoring instinct. We are very happy that Filip will be part of HC Pustertal and we are sure that he will bring a lot of joy to the fans."

"I am very excited to become part of the Wolves and to get to know my new teammates and the coaching team. I can't wait to start in Bruneck and hope for a long season with HCP," said the new arrival.

Leavens stays in Innsbruck
Forward Daniel Leavens is entering his second season with HC TIWAG Innsbruck. The 28-year-old Canadian recorded 41 points in 47 games (17G/24A) in the past campaign. After missing the playoffs, the Canadian moved to the Selber Wölfen in the DEL 2 for a few weeks, where he played a big part in keeping the team in the league.

Daniel Leavens: "I can't wait to come back to Innsbruck and start preparing for the next season. The decision was easy for me. I love the city, the fans and the whole organisation."
