Eric Pance already made good experiences in different leagues before transferring to Pustertal. Born Ljubljana he went through the youth program of his hometown and Sweden. With only 19 years old, he celebrated his debut  in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga where he scored 58 points in  205 games. After a mixed year in Finland and Slovenia he made a break in his career, to come back in 2015/16 for Ujpest Budapest. 20 goals in 42 games made this a good decision. In the past year he scored 32 goals and 42 points for the AHL semifinalist of Jesenice, which brought him the MVP title.
President Robert Pohlin is very positive about the transfer: “Young and tough: Pance made a good impression in the first talks and we are convinced that he will be a perfect fit for our team.”
