The third quarterfinal matchday is completed with the game S.G. Cortina Hafro against EHC Lustenau. After Cortina's narrow opening win (5:4/OT), Lustenau was able to strike back with a clear 3:0 home win on Thursday. Max Wilfan scored twice. In total, the 32-year-old already scored 40 points in the AHL playoffs. This puts the forward in the lead in the overall postseason points standings along with teammate Chris D'Alvise, who scored two assists on Thursday. For Lustenau, it was their seventh win overall from their past ten home games. Away, however, they have only won five of their past ten games. The decisive win in Zell am See to advance to the quarterfinals was an enormously important away victory recently.
