For the fifth time this season Erste Bank Eishockey Liga is looking for #glaubandich Young Star of the month. Five young players are up for election again, the voting closes on Sunday.

Filip VAREJCKA (2001) – EC Red Bull Salzburg

  • In early December the 19-year-old German made his debut in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga
  • The forward played ten of eleven games for Salzburg in January
  • On New Year's Day Varejcka scored his first goal against Bolzano, he added two assists in the games against Innsbruck and Linz


Martin KOSNAR (1998) – HC Orli Znojmo

  • The forward gained 103 points in 79 Erste Bank Young Stars League (U20) games during the past three years
  • In this campaign the 21-year-old made his debut in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga with playing 14 games
  • Kosnar scored his first goal in a 3:4 defeat at Villach


Bence SZABÓ (1998) – Hydro Fehérvár AV19

  • The defender has played 21 games this season
  • The 22-year-old got his first goal of the season during the road game in Villach
  • Szabó is in the Hungarian roster for the Olympic qualification tourament this week


Amadeus Egger (1999) – Moser Medical Graz99ers

  • The 20-year-old hit the ice in 20 games this season
  • The defender earned his first assists in the 2:1 home win against Bolzano mid-January
  • The Graz native has also gained some experience on the power play units


Paul Huber (2000) - EC Red Bull Salzburg

  • Since making his debut in the end of December, the 19-year-old played all 15 games for Salzburg
  • He had on average 9:13 minutes time on ice
  • In early January he scored his first Erste Bank Eishockey Liga goal against Innsbruck, overall he had each 2 goals and assists this month
