The Red Bull Hockey Juniors have beaten the VEU Feldkich in an Austrian clash (3:2) and overtaken in the standing as well. Plus: Headcoach Tom Barrasso leaves Asiago and two players of Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro got suspended by DOPS.

Red Bull Hockey Juniors searched their luck in the offense in period 1 (20:7-shots). Kokkila’s Power Play goal gave the Red Bulls a 1:0-lead in minute 12. But, the guests from Feldkirch responded quickly: Wiedmaier equalized just 23 seconds later. The Vorarlberger got their first Power Play in minute 15 and took advantage as well: Jennes beat goalie Caffi and turned the game around (16.). The Mozart Citizens had a perfect start into period 2: Pilloni tied the game with another Power Play goal – 2:2! The game went up and down in the following minutes with the better end for the home-team: Klöckl scored the Game Winner for the Red Bulls in minute 56.  Salzburg won and overtook the VEU Feldkirch in the ranking as well.
 
Tom Barrasso leaves Asiago
US-American Tom Barrasso is leaving Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 and will be the new Head Coach of Sheffield Steelers. Nicola Tessari will lead the "Yellow-Reds" in the upcoming games.
 
Suspensions for Bruneteau and Cordiano
Nick Bruneteau of Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro has been suspended for three games, because of spearing. Massimo Cordiano of Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro has been suspended for two games, because of kicking.
