With the addition of Martin Hlozek, Pontus Englund und Daniel Carlqvist, three U20 players join the Red Bull Hockey Juniors for the coming Alps Hockey League season. Goaltender Christopher Kolarz moved up. Further, the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel extended the contract with defender Gert Karitnig.

Three U20 players join Red Bull Hockey Juniors
With Martin Hlozek, the current top-scorer of Germany’s U20 league moved to the Red Bulls. He had 65 points (35 G | 30 A) for Augsburger EV past season and will prove his scoring abilities in Alps Hockey League next season.

Swedish duo Pontus Englund and Daniel Carlqvist will reinforce Red Bull’s defensive end. Englund, who is about to be drafted during the next days, had an awesome season with Timrå IK, being team’s top-scorer. With 34 points (19 G| 15 A) he was selected as the best defensive scorer of SuperElit. Daniel Carlqvist was part of AIK’s youth-squad past season. Futher, goalie Christopher Kolarz moves up to the Juniors for participating for the first time in Alps Hockey League. 
 
Gert Karitnig remains loyal to Kitzbühel
The EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel announced another contract extension. Gert Karitnig heads into his second Alps Hockey League season with the Tyrolese, after posting five points (2G | 3A) during his first campaign for the eagles 2018-19. Karitnig was part of the youth squad in Villach, where he appeared seven times for the VSV in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. In between he played for the Vienna Capitals II.
