The Red Bull Hockey Juniors won the Austrian duel against the EC KAC II in Sundays only Alps Hockey League game. The KAC already had a two goals lead, before Salzburg turned the game.

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors won Sundays only game against the EC-KAC II with 4:3. The first 15 minutes were clearly in favor for the EC KAC II. Salzburg could create chances but the hosts scored the goals. In the first powerplay of KAC Thimo Nickl opened the scoring. The story repeated in the 15th minutes. This time it was Simon Hammerle who increased the lead – again in powerplay. From that moment on the Juniors took control. Oliver Nordberg managed to narrow the gap in the 16th minute, despite playing short handed. In the second period Salzburg even increased pressure. Aljaz Predan succeeded with the equalizer in the 27th minute. The Juniors fired many shots onto Florian Vorauer who didn’t let more pucks through in this period. The Juniors kept the pressure in the final period. Samuel Witting and Dennis Lobach started the final period with a double strike. The KAC didn’t give up and Alexander Moser made the game with the 3:4 exciting again. The Juniors kept the nerves and celebrated a win.
