Red Bull Hockey Juniors win Salzburg-Derby against Zell am See

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors celebrated a 5:3 derby victory over the EK Die Zeller Eisbären in the Alps Hockey League on Thursday. It was the seventh consecutive win of the Young Bulls over Zell am See. The EC Bregenzerwald continued its upward trend with a 5:4 victory after overtime at the Vienna Capitals Silver. The Capitals, on the other hand, suffered the sixth defeat in a row. In the third game of the day, the EC ‚Die Adler‘ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel celebrated a narrow 1:0 home win over the EC-KAC II.

Red Bull Hockey Juniors win Salzburg derby
For the seventh time in a row, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors have won the Salzburg derby against the EK Die Zeller Eisbären. The young bulls once again proved that they are the team of the hour because it was the fifth win in a row for RBJ. The Polar Bears, on the other hand, suffered their third defeat in a row, which is why a top six place is moving into the distance again. The deficit to the sixth place is six points. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors are only one point behind Zell am See in eleventh place in the table.

Johan Lorraine shines at victory of the EC Bregenzerwald
The EC Bregenzerwald celebrated a close 5:4 OT away win at the spusu Vienna Capitals Silver. It was the second win in a row for the ECB, in which Johan Lorraine was the man of the match. The Swede scored two goals, including the game winner in the overtime and assisted three more goals. With the victory, the ECB overtakes the Capitals Silver in the league table and moves up to the 16th place. It was the sixth loss in a row for the Viennese.

Kitzbühel with narrow victory over EC-KAC II
With the tightest of all results, the EC “Die Adler” Stadtwerke Kitzbühel prevailed against the EC-KAC II in the third game of the day. The goal of the day for the 1:0 home win was scored by Lasse Uusivirta after three minutes and 26 seconds in the second period. Overall, it was a game at eye level. The guests from Klagenfurt succeeded more shots on the goal than Kitzbühel (23:27). However, since they failed to score, KEC goalkeeper Stefan Ridderwall was pleased about his third shutout of the season. Thanks to the victory, the Tyroleans now have 25 points and still occupy the 14th place. KA2 follows with 20 points.
