The Bears hosted the Bulls in the Den on Tuesday night and it didn't take long for the Salzburg to set the tone for the game. In the second minute Raymond already sent an assist close to the net to find Harris who easily beat the home goalie. Duncan doubled the lead on the powerplay four minutes later when Herburger couldn't find a place to shoot but saw Duncan coming in. After the intermission Herburger scored the third goal for the Red Bulls - 28 seconds in Hughes went behind the net and passed in front, Herburger only needed to place to shot over the line. The Bulls were going all-in and so was Herburger. In the 27th minute he scored again, again assisted by Hughes, this time from the left, Nikolic in net was not positioned well and the Bulls' center didn't have any problems burying the puck. Before the end of the second period the Bulls took the 6:0 lead - first Schiechl scored in the 36th minute and shortly after Winkler. In the 55th minute Regner put the end to the game. Raffl was dashing towards the net putting pressure on the defense, saw Regner rushing towards the goal and assisted to him, who scored to mark the final score 0:7 for Salzburg.
