For seventh-placed Bratislava, it was their third win in five games, while tenth-placed Budapest suffered their fourth defeat in five matches. The hosts initially held their own, with the score tied 1–1 after the first period. However, the Slovak side pulled ahead 3–1 in the middle period, and the Hungarians were unable to respond. In the final period, the visitors added three more goals, with Romana Kosecka netting twice.
