Since then the 21-year-old played for several clubs in the QMJHL and the American Hockey League. The EHC Lustenau goes with a 4:3 lead into the second leg of the first big Vorarlberderby of the season against the VEU Feldkirch. The man of the match on Saturday was Frederik Rasmussen, who scored three of the four goals for Lustenau. For Feldkirch it was the second 3:4 defeat in a row. Lustenau was able to celebrate a victory for the sixth time in a row. In the direct duel it was the EHC's seventh derby victory over the VEU.
Chris D'Alvise will be out for Lustenau in the coming weeks due to an upper body injury. Therefore the EHC has signed the Finn Janne Laakkonen as an injury replacement.

At the beginning the Broncos could turn a 5:6 defeat at the Rittner Buam in the return leg still in their favour.

The SHC Fassa Falcons starts the season delayed. After the first duel of the "Falcons", against Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, had to be cancelled because of Covid-19, the S.G. Cortina Hafro Hockey, Fassa's second opponent, is also in quarantine due to positive Covid-19 cases. As a result, the duel against HC Gherdeina valgardena.it will be played now. While in the other six matches on Wednesday and Thursday already the second leg will be played, in this game the first leg will take place in Fassa. The return match will follow on Saturday in Val Gardena. For Gherdeina it is the second game of the season. They celebrated a surprisingly clear 6:2 home win against Cortina at the start of the season. The return match was cancelled due to Covid-19. In the direct duel of both teams Gröden is clearly in front with nine wins to three. However, Fassa won the last three duels.
