After four years as an apprentice in the NCAA, Rick Schofield made the jump directly to the pros in the American Hockey League. Schofield immediately earned a regular spot in the league, scoring 47 points in 147 appearances from 2011 to 2013. His debut year in European ice hockey ended with a great success: Schofield lifted the cup with Bolzano in 2014. Several engagements in the multinational ICE Hockey League followed: two years in Bolzano, four years in Linz, two years in Villach, one year in Salzburg. In 477 ICE games, Schofield totaled 396 scorer points (188 goals).

Rick Schofield: "My family and I are very happy to move to Pustertal. I'm sure we're going to have a great year ahead of us and I can't wait to meet everyone, play at Intercable Arena and finally get the season started."
