Both teams started cautious into the game and granted the opponents not many chances. The guests had good opportunities in two powerplays, but Nicolas Wieser kept the zero. After that the Juniors could create chances, without success. The first period ended with no goals. In the second period the hosts opened the scoring. Klöckl scored after assist of Wappis. In the 32nd minute the Broncos finally succeeded in converting a powerplay. Kyle Just tied the game. In the third period Jure Sotlar captured the lead, but Klöckl stroke back with his second goal. Five minutes before the end the Juniors got the lead again after a goal of Evertsson. Only six seconds before the end Sotlar equalized again in numerous advantage. In the overtime Christof Wappis found the decision.

The Fassa recovered Soel Costantin while Karl Östman was on the ice but not in perfect physical condition. After 5 minutes, Martin Castlunger, the captain of Fassa, was punished for tripping. Nick Bruneteau, after just 9 seconds of powerplay, realized the first goal of Cortina with a shot under the crossbar. Then, with the passing of the minutes, the Cortina doubled with Riccardo Lacedelli, who rejected a puck on the net not held by Matt Hewitt. In the second period the home team changed pace. After just 22 seconds Diego Iori scored right in the front of De Filippo after Gran's action. Then the Falcons created many chances as they tied with Chad Bresciani at the end of a personal action. The Cortina tried the reaction as they found a post with Riccardo Lacedelli and then the new advantage with a wrap-around of Mathieu Ayotte 50 seconds from the end of the second period. In the third time after a crossbar of the Fassa, Cortina scored the fourth goal with Andrea Moser in powerplay (57.). The final, however, was in favor of the Falcons who realized with Karl Östman and then missed the fourth goal. The Cortina won the match for 4:3.

Radovan Gabri and Kai Lehtinen were absent in the home team, in addition to the suspended Stefan Quinz and Kevin Fink. Heavy absences also for the visitors. Petri Mattila could not line up the three players: Simon Berger, the former player of Rittner Buam, Tommaso Traversa (suspended), and Denny Elliscasis. The real news of the meeting, however, was the debut of the 34-year-old Latvian defender Aleksandrs Jerofejevs in the Rittner Buam. The first period at the Ritten Arena ended without goals but the spectators attended a match that did not disappoint the expectations of the eve. The first real opportunity was on the stick Andergassen who failed to score after a wrong exit of the goalkeeper of Renon. Then the penalties also started but the two teams played very carefully in defended. In the final minutes the Rittner Buam put a lot of pressure. In the second period happened everything and more. The Ritten inflicted a severe game lesson to the leaders of the standings in the first 10 minutes of play. Johan Eriksson realized after a diagonal passage of Oleg Sislannikovs in powerplay. Then in the middle Alex Frei was a protagonist with a brace that allowed the Renon to reach a clear 3:0. But the Wolves were not lost. Alex De Lorenzo Meo after 35 minutes achieved a lonely counterattack demonstrating a great skill in shorthanded. 74 seconds from the end of the central period, Thomas Erlacher realized through the traffic. After the video replay the goal was validated. After 46 minutes there was certainly one of the decisive episodes of the game: Andreas Lutz realized a spectacular penalty shot. Pustertal tried to reopen the game: when missing four minutes from the end, Colin Furlong came out the door. The Renon closed the accounts with the empty net of Julian Kostner (5:2). After winning 17 game in a row, the Wolves were defeated for the fist time in the season. The Rittner Buam earned the 8th success in a row.

The Gherdeina could not dispose of the three brothers Vinatzer (Simon, Andreas and Gabriel) and Damian Bergmeister. Milan was in full force but after the first period they had to give up Marcello Borghi. The Gherdeina certainly started better in the match and after several occasions took the lead after eight minutes. Beautiful action between Samuel Moroder and David Galassiti with the goal of the latter in the middle of the legs of the goalkeeper. Milan became dangerous with Brace but Gherdeina doubled with Ivan Demetz at the end of a scrum. In the second half there was the reaction of Milan that created more actions and opportunities. But just through in the the middle of the match, Linus Lundstrom served an assist to Derek Eastman who ended the counterattack with a goal in shorthanded. The saves of the Finnish Pietila were decisive. In the third half the game was more regular. The Milan tried to reopen the game while the Gherdeina was content with the three goals ahead. After a face off in attack zone the Furies captured the fourth goal with Joel Brugnoli after 53 minutes of play. The Gherdeina won by 4:0. Pietila earned her first seasonal shutout.
