Ritten, Gherdeina and Lustenau with contract extension, Kitzbühel confirms Head Coach

The HC Gherdëina valgardena.it extended the contract with Benjamin Kostner. Also the reigning Champion Ritten trusts on the proven and wil also head into the next season with goaly Patricck Killeen. The EHC Lustenau aims to lead the own youth to the first team – Mattias Adam should receive a chance in the coming season. The EC Kitzbühel extended the contract with Joe West.

Kostner stays, Senoner ends career
The 29-years old is already since yeare one of the big performer at Gherdeina. In the last season he leaded in the internal scorer list with 21 goals. In total he collected 39 points. Fabrizio Senoner ended his carrer. After more than 600 games and 228 points, the 33-years old defender will concentrate on a live beside from hockey. “It was a very good time, but I’m ready for new challenges now. I want to thank everybody who supported me in my active time and wish the HCG all the best for the coming season.”  

Patrick Killeen extended contract, Ebner is leaving
Patrick Killeen will stay at Ritten. The 27-years old Canadian goaly convinced in his first season and one of the key factors for winning the double. In the regular season Killeen had a save percentage of 91,9 % and in the playoffs he could even improve to 92,6%. In six out of 47 AHL games Killeen celebrated a shut-out, only Frederic Cloutier and Thomas Tragust had the same number of shut outs. Defender Fabian Ebner will not be part of the next years team, as he will leave the country for studying reasons. With Brad Cole they already have the replacement for Ebner.

Matthias Adam extended contract and aims to make in the first team
The EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau extended with the youth player Mattias Adam. 
After a couple of injuries in the past year, Adam wants to complete the whole preseason and make the jump into the first team. Since his fourth birthday, Adam is playing for Lustenau – now with 19 years old he wants to start his career with the pro team.

Third season for Head Coach Joe West
“Joe West knows the environment, the team and the league very well. So it was just logic to extend the contract, after defining the objectives.” The vice president commented the extension. Kitzbühel will focus on young and motivated players, with high speed hockey. On the key positions players with experience will be obliged.
