The Rittner Buam have won the third final game as well, taking a 3:0 lead in the "best-of-seven" series against S.G. Cortina Hafro. While Ritten could thus clinch the title already on Thursday in Cortina, S.G. Cortina Hafro fights in front of a home crowd against becoming the runner-up for the second time in a row.

Cortina had the first chance of the game through Marco Sanna – but his deflected shot only hit the outer net. As the game progressed, the Rittner Buam SkyAlps had more of the first period in front of a home audience but couldn't get past Cortina goalie Hayden Hawkie initially. However, the second period started quickly. Just 17 seconds in, Max Coatta, who has scored in every final game so far and is on a goal-scoring streak of five games, scored the 1:0 in a powerplay: He paused briefly, then hammered the puck under the crossbar. The hosts extended their lead in the 29th minute through Ethan Szypula. Julian Kostner provided a spectacular assist through the legs. But this time, Cortina's response was swift: About 100 seconds later, Tim Doherty scored the follow-up goal, making two moves in the deep slot before sending the puck into the net. In the final period, Cortina pressed for the equalizer. Doherty was a constant threat but couldn't overcome Colin Furlong anymore. Simon Kostner finally made the final score 3:1 with an empty-netter.

Thus, Ritten has the chance to crown themselves as the champions of the Alps Hockey League for the second time since their first title in 2017, already this Thursday. Meanwhile, S.G. Cortina Hafro fights in just two days in front of a home crowd against becoming the runner-up for the second consecutive time.
