Defending champions Rittner Buam SkyAlps beat EC Bregenzerwald 3:2 in the only Wednesday game and climbed to second place in the table. It was Bregenzerwald's fourth defeat in their fifth game. The Vorarlberg team is in tenth place in the table.

In the 24th meeting between EC Bregenzerwald and the Rittner Buam Sky Alps in the Alps Hockey League, Ritten celebrated their 18th victory, underlining their clear superiority in this duel. New signing Diego Cuglietta put the visitors ahead in the ninth minute. It was only the second game of the season for the 29-year-old center. Adam Giacomuzzi increased the lead to 2:0 for the current champions in the 16th minute. In the second period, Ukraine's Ievgen Fadieiev was able to reduce the deficit to 1:2 for Bregenzerwald (34./PP1), but Eric Hjorth restored the two-goal lead just 125 seconds later. It remained 3:1 for Ritten until 53 seconds before the end of the game, before Janick Wernicke scored to make it 2:3 and make the game exciting once more. However, the ECB was unable to equalize and Bregenzerwald suffered their fourth defeat in the fifth game. Ritten celebrated their fourth win of the season. With twelve points, the “Buam” are level on points with league leader Kitzbühel in second place.
