win2day ICE Hockey League:
Sun, 29.10.2023, 16:00: HC Pustertal Wölfe - Hydro Fehervar AV 19
Referees: PALKÖVI, PIRAGIC, Mantovani, Nothegger | >> live.ice.hockey <<

With HC Pustertal and Fehervar two top-6 sides meet. Both started the weekend with a defeat and now want to get back on track. The team from Bruneck remained without a goal for the first time this season in a 0:2 loss in Asiago, while for the Hungarians a five-game winning streak came to an end against Bolzano. With 20 points from nine games, Fehervar are currently the best away team in the league. The Hungarians also won their last four guest games in Pustertal.

Sun, 29.10.2023, 17:00: BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg - EC-KAC
Referees: M. NIKOLIC, OFNER, Martin, Pardatscher | >> live.ice.hockey <<

Despite leading after 40 minutes, the Pioneers had to admit defeat to HC Innsbruck in the derby on Friday. The KAC recently celebrated four wins in a row and improved to fourth place in the table. Klagenfurt are warned about the trip to the west of the country, as they only took two of a possible six points home from Feldkirch last season. With 3.60 goals scored per game, the Redcoats are currently the most offensive team in the league. The Carinthians will have to do without Luka Gomboc, Raphael Herburger, Daniel Obersteiner (all injured) and Sebastian Dahm (injured) as well as Matt Fraser.

Sun, 29.10.2023, 17:30: spusu Vienna Capitals - HCB Südtirol Alperia
Referees: STERNAT, ZRNIC, Konc, Zgonc | >> live.ice.hockey <<

The Capitals ended a nine-game losing streak with a 2:1 overtime win in Salzburg on Friday. Carsen Twarnyski shined on the offensive end, scoring his first two league goals to lift the Caps to victory. HCB Südtirol Alperia, who like the Viennese got off to a false start in the new season, have shown marked improvement since Glen Hanlon returned as head coach. The team from Bolzano won their last three games. The semi-final opponents of the previous season already met this season on 7 October, with the South Tyroleans winning 4:1. The team from Bolzano developed into a kind of fearful opponent for the Viennese in recent years. The Capitals have only won two of the eleven meetings since the beginning of 2022.

Sun, 29.10.2023, 17:30: Steinbach Black Wings Linz - HC TIWAG Innsbruck
Referees: HLAVATY, SMETANA, Riecken, Seewald | >> live.ice.hockey <<

Having previously gained at least one point eleven times in a row, fifth-placed Linz lost 3:2 against VSV on Friday. Innsbruck stayed within reach of the top six with a home win over the Pioneers, Dario Winkler providing the last-minute winner with 34 seconds remaining. Graham Knott has stood out for the Black Wings this season. The Canadian is leading the points, goals and +/- statistics and is making things happen in the opposing third game after game. He also scored once in the first duel of the season with Innsbruck, the Upper Austrians won 3:2 after overtime.

Sun, 29.10.2023, 17:30: Moser Medical Graz99ers - EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: FICHTNER, TRILAR, Bedynek, Snoj | >> PULS 24 <<

The Moser Medical Graz99ers were unable to carry the momentum from their win against Klagenfurt in mid-October and lost the three following games - yesterday they suffered a 1:4 defeat in Klagenfurt. EC Red Bull Salzburg will be looking to bounce back from yesterday's home defeat to the Vienna Capitals and defend their narrow lead in the standings. But the Red Bulls are warned, because in the past the Salzburgers have often struggled in Graz. The Styrians have even won their last three home games against the reigning champions.

Sun, 29.10.2023, 18:00: HK SZ Olimpija - Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey
Referees: RENCZ, REZEK, Miklic, Muzsik | >> live.ice.hockey <<

After a good start of the season, Olimpija's form curve shows a downward trend, the team from Ljubljana won only one of the last eight games. Asiago, on the other hand, showed improvement and picked up seven points from their last three games. The team of head coach Tom Barrasso has not yet had the best of luck away from home, with only two points from seven games. The Slovenians' home record is even worse, they are the only team in the league without a win at home. In the first duel of the season with Asiago, the green dragons celebrated a 5:0 away win.
