Thursday night, Rob Daum might make his comeback as head coach of EC GRAND Immo VSV in Villach’s home-game against Hydro Fehérvár AV19, as he arrives on gameday. In bet-at-home ICE’ second game the Steinbach Black Wings 1992 will take revenge on the HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie after the clear loss in the first season meeting. Both games will be available as pay-per-view video-stream on live.ice.hockey.

Wednesday’s lone game Moser Medical Graz99ers against EC Red Bull Salzburg will be streamed live too from 7.00 pm on.

  • The HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie will play its second of three home games in a row on Thursday. Guests are the Steinbach Black Wings 1992, which are playing three times on the road until next week.
  • Both teams are placed in the lower third of the standings: The HCI is eighth, grabbing 21 points from 18 games. BWI is in last place, scoring only 14 points from 19 games.
  • Innsbruck has clearly won the first duel of the season with 5:1.
  • HCI has recently struggled at home, taking only three of 15 possible points.
  • BWI has always finished the last three games in Innsbruck victoriously. 28 of 50 games in Tyrol were won by the Linz team.

  • Rob Daum could make his comeback as Head Coach of EC GRAND Immo VSV in the home game against Hydro Fehérvár AV19 on Thursday. The neo-coach is expected in Villach on match day coming from Canada.
  • Since the separation from Dan Ceman, who had taken over the team in summer, Marco Pewal was on the "eagles" team for two games - both games were lost by the Carinthians.
  • AVS ended its losing streak - five defeats in a row - on Tuesday in Linz, celebrated a clear 4:1 victory.
  • From the last five games neither Villach (6 of 15 points) nor Fehérvár (4 of 15 points) was completely convincing.
  • The Hungarians are still in fourth place. Villach is again tenth.
  • AVS has won more than half of its games away from home this season.
  • It is the third duel of the season between these two teams - both games were won by road teams. AVS 5:3, VSV one week ago 2:1.
