Roster updated at Dornbirn, Bratislava and Innsbruck

On Wednesday, three teams of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League have announced further roster updates. While Sergei Kostitsyn restarts his career at iClinic Bratislava Capitals, the HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie took back Linus Ludin. Moreover, the Dornbirn Bulldogs’ loan agreement with the Edmonton Oilers had expired, as Devin Brosseau and Yanni Kaldis have to head back to the states.

Sergei Kostitsyn restarts career at Bratislava
Sergei Kostitsyn resumes his successful career with the commitment in Bratislava, since the end of the 18/19 season he had to take a break due to persistent back problems. The 33-year-old, who played a total of 125 games for the Belarusian national team, previously played a total of 393 games in the NHL for the Montreal Canadians and Nashville Predators and scored 191 points. He then operated for six seasons in the KHL, where he also captained Dinamo Minsk for two seasons. The forward, who has been on a long break due to a back injury, replaces Adam Lapšanský, who moved within Slovakia to HC Kosice.

Further roster decsions at Dornbirn
The Dornbirn Bulldogs must return Devin Brosseau and Yanni Kaldis to the Edmonton Oilers organization, joining Bakersfield Condors in the AHL. The duo will play their final game in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League Wednesday night at EC Red Bull Salzburg. With Anthony Luciani and Finnish defenseman Saku Salmela, the sixth-ranked side has already signed replacements. For Salmela it is the first engagement outside Finland, he played 345 Liiga games, but in this season still no game.

Ludin back at Innsbruck
19-year-old Luis Ludin has returned to the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League and will now play for HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie. He had moved to EHC Freiburg in the DEL2 in the summer.
For the Tyrolean team he played exactly 40 first league games until summer 2020, recorded two goals and one assist. During his time in Freiburg, he hit the ice 19 times and came to three points (3A). Ludin is expected to make his comeback Friday against EC-KAC.
