Bet-at-home ICE Hockey League | Saturday, January 9th 2021:
Sat, 09.01.2020, 8.15 pm: HCB Südtirol Alperia – Hydro Fehérvár AV19
Referees: RUETZ, SMETANA, Nothegger, Sparer. | >> PPV-Livestream << | live on VB 33

  • In this duel, the two first-placed teams meet each other - without taking into account Friday's game day. HCB Südtirol Alperia is on top with 62 points from 27 games, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 ranks second with 59 points (32 games).
  • AVS is already on the ice tonight, Friday, meets HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie on the road. Bolzano then plays on Sunday against EC Red Bull Salzburg (game starts at 7.00 pm).
  • The two teams face each other for the third time this season: the two previous games were won by the home team in each case (AVS 5:4 and HCB 4:1).
  • HCB won the past three consecutive home-games - and has scored at home in every game at the Palaonda this season. The last home defeat after regulation dates back to January 10th, 2020 (1:2 vs. G99), almost exactly one year ago.
  • AVS has won five out of six games away from home, scoring twice.
  • AVS came out short in the Palaonda most of the time: from the last six games they could take points only once (30.11.2018 | 4:3 OT). Only five wins AVS celebrated so far in 19 games in Bolzano.
  • HCB has scored in 18 of the 19 home duels with AVS, only losing after regulation on February 2, 2018 (1:2).
  • In this duel, the best defense by absolute numbers (HCB 51 goals against) and the best offense (AVS 110 goals) clash.
  • HCB can count on the return of top goal-scorer Dan Catenacci in this game, and Leland Irving could be back in the lineup too. The suspended Mike Halmo is missing as well as Justin Fazio and Ivan Tauferer (both injured). Newcomer Karl Stollery is not yet to make his debut.
