The Sabres St. Pölten left the VSV Lady Hawks with no chance and celebrated a convincing 5–1 home win. Charlotte Wittich was the only player to score twice. The Sabres were already up 2–0 after eleven minutes and extended the lead to 4–0 after 29 minutes. The Lady Hawks’ lone goal came just under eight minutes from the end, before Wittich sealed the final score two minutes later.

Huskies win OT thriller in Salzburg
The Graz99ers Huskies claimed a narrow 4–3 overtime victory away at the DEC Salzburg Eagles. After a scoreless opening period, the game picked up pace. Gabrielle Davidson Adams opened the scoring for the hosts with the first of her two goals, but Graz turned the game around before the end of the second period. Pavlína Malinová not only made it 2–1, she also scored the OT winner with eleven seconds remaining. In regulation, the Huskies went 3–1 ahead through Shelby Bailen’s second goal of the night with twelve minutes left, but Salzburg hit back immediately—just eleven seconds later—and Davidson forced overtime with 22 seconds left. In the extra frame, however, Graz secured the additional point.

MAC defeat Lakers
In the only matchup counted solely towards the European Women’s Hockey League standings, MAC Budapest defeated the Lakers Kärnten 3–1. After a goalless first period, the visitors scored twice in the opening six minutes of the second. The score remained 2–0 until the 52nd minute, when the Lakers pulled one back on the power play, briefly tightening the contest. With 1:30 to play, MAC put the game to bed. MAC will face the other Carinthian side, the VSV Lady Hawks, on Sunday, while the Lakers will visit the Graz99ers Huskies.
