Anthony Salinitri made a name for himself in the OHL, which led to him being drafted into the NHL in 2016. He was drafted 172nd overall in the sixth round by the Philadelphia Flyers. After two seasons at the University of Windsor, he moved to Italy, his family's country of origin. In his first year with Asiago, he won the Alps Hockey League, the Italian championship, and was top scorer with 61 points in 53 games (33 goals, 28 assists). In his second season with Asiago in the win2day ICE Hockey League, he scored 17 goals and 28 assists in 49 games. In the 2023/24 season he played in Graz and was top scorer with 17 goals and 6 assists in 35 games. After missing the playoffs, he moved to Norway to the Stavanger Oilers, where he scored 9 goals and 8 assists in 22 games. The season ended in the semi-finals against Valerenga. At his first World Championship with the Italian national team, he scored 3 goals and 2 assists.

Anthony Salinitri: "Bolzano has what it takes to win the championship. They've proven that in the last two years, and that's one of the reasons why I chose the Foxes. HCB has a great team and I want to be a part of it. It will also be nice to see some of my national team teammates again. The experience at the World Championship was incredible, it was my first time in an Azzurri jersey and playing in front of the Sparkasse Arena crowd was breathtaking. Ice hockey means passion in Bolzano. I've noticed that the fans are very interested in me and that's why I want to live up to expectations. I expect a balanced championship. We will be ready and I want to help bring the cup back to Bolzano."
