The EC Red Bull Salzburg and the Moser Medical Graz99ers celebrated success in the sixth round of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League and continue to form the top duo. The spusu Vienna Capitals move up to third place in the standings. Hydro Fehérvár AV19 also scored points in their third game in a row - for the first time this season the Hungarians captured the full amount of points.

Salzburg defends lead
The EC Red Bull Salzburg remains unbeaten this season and defends its lead in the standings against the EC-KAC. The Klagenfurt team had to accept its first away defeat this season. For the Red Bulls it was already the fourth victory in a row over the KAC throughout the season. In the first 40 minutes of the Sunday match, the hosts took a 2-0 lead. The team from Klagenfurt could no longer shorten their lead decisively and finally had to admit defeat with 2:4 and slipped to fifth place in the standings.

Caps celebrate clear success in Innsbruck
The spusu Vienna Capitals achieved the a full success in Innsbruck. After the defeat in Bolzano the day before, the Viennese celebrated a 6:1 victory in Innsbruck. After the two opening victories, the Sharks already had to contend with their fourth defeat in a row. It took 15 minutes until the Viennese team's scoring session was opened on Sunday in Innsbruck by Marco Richter. Four more goals followed in the second period. Once again the Sharks were struggling with their special teams. Ali Wukovits scored twice for the Viennese.

99ers defeat Villach
The Moser Medical Graz99ers defended their second place in the standings with a 6:2 victory over EC Grand Immo VSV. After the derby defeat, the Eagles had to accept the next defeat and thus remain on the tenth place in the standings. For the Grazer it was the first victory over Villach after season-spanning five defeats in a row against VSV. The 99ers took a 2-0 lead already in the first period. However, the Villach team came back strongly and equalized temporarily in the middle third. But Graz had the longer breath and finally celebrated a 6:2 success.

Fehérvár scores points for the third time in a row
Hydro Fehervar AV 19 scored points for the third time in a row. After a shootout win and an overtime defeat, the Hungarians scored the full three points against the Steinbach Black Wings 1992. For the Black Wings this was already the fourth defeat in a row. In the standings Fehérvár was able to leave the Linz team behind after the 3:1 success. After an early goal by the home side, it took until the final period before the next goals could be celebrated - once again the Hungarians scpred. The Black Wings did not come back.
