KAC wins Pack-Derby against the leader
The EC-KAC decides the Pack-Derby with 6:3. Despite the defeat, the Moser Medical Graz99ers remain at the top of the standings at least until tomorrow Saturday. The Klagenfurt team was only the second team to win in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League as a guest of the 99ers. While the Grazers have proven their comeback qualities in past games, the Klagenfurters were able to turn the match around on Friday after falling behind twice. Six minutes before the end, the score was still even before KAC sparked the turbo and scored three goals within 140 seconds.

Vienna celebrates success in the duel of the capitals
The spusu Vienna Capitals won the capital city duel with the iClinic Bratislava Capitals with 3:1. After the Viennese defeated Bratislava 7:2 in the ICE opener in September, the Austrian team also won the second duel with the Slovaks. After two defeats in a row, the yellow and black caps again scored a full three points and regained their fourth place in the standings for the time being. All teams ahead the Caps, however, played at least two games more. For Bratislava this was already the fifth defeat in the last six games. In the final period, the young Vienna goalie Sebastian Wraneschitz in particular held on to his victory.

Salzburg ends series of losses
The EC Red Bull Salzburg ended its five-game lasting series of defeats against the second of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. After four wins in a row, the Hungarians had to admit defeat 3:5, but remain in second place. The hosts from Salzburg took a quick 2-0 lead and even increased their lead to 3-0 for a short time in the middle period. The Hungarians narrowed the gap twice to one goal, but were never able to equalize. Salzburg finally prevailed with 5:3. Jack Skille scored two goals for the Red Bulls. Janos Hari added an assist against his ex-club and thus extended his scoring streak to eleven games.

Bulldogs take revenge
The Dornbirn Bulldogs took revenge at EC Grand Immo VSV for the shootout defeat two weeks ago. The Bulldogs prevailed in overtime with 3:2 and could capture points after two defeats again. The Villach team got off to an even better start. A "gift" from the VSV back team, however, gave Dornbirn the lead in the second period. The eagles still forced the overtime, but there Andrew Yogan made the decision.
