Connor Corcoran moves from the North American AHL to Europe for the first time and signs with EC Red Bull Salzburg. The defenceman grew up in the Canadian OHL and then alternated between playing for various clubs in the AHL and ECHL. In the three seasons from 2020 to 2023, he also played 27 games with the Henderson Silver Knights, who were coached by new Salzburg head coach Manny Viveiros at the time. Last season, the 24-year-old played 44 games in the AHL with the Bakersfield Condors and 18 games in the ECHL with the Fort Wayne Komets. Both leagues combined, Corcoran has played a total of 243 professional games (50 goals, 75 assists).

Two young forwards for Pustertal
HC Pustertal is focusing on rejuvenation and has integrated Fabian Gschliesser and Alan Lobis into the squad for the 2025/26 season. Gschliesser (21) came to professional hockey via the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, HCP Junior and Red Bull Juniors and has always shown what he can do in his 62 appearances in the win2day ICE Hockey League for HCP so far. Alan Lobis (20) enjoyed his training at Kaltern and in Finland. For the last two years, the agile forward has taken on leading roles with the Rittner Buam and - after the preseason in Bruneck - was also called up three times by Jaspers to wear the Wolves jersey in the ICE season.
