EC Red Bull Salzburg is strengthening its offense with Canadian forward Travis St. Denis, who was most recently under contract with the Straubing Tigers in the DEL. In the fall of 2023, the forward was already a guest in Salzburg with his former club, ERC Ingolstadt, as part of the Champions Hockey League. With this transfer, the Red Bulls are responding to the long-term absence of Ali Wukovits.

Travis St. Denis played five years in the AHL after some success in Canadian junior leagues and in the NCAA at Quinnipiac University. In a total of 294 games, the forward scored 69 goals and 76 assists. St. Denis then moved to the German DEL with the Straubing Tigers, where he stayed for two years. This was followed by a DEL season with ERC Ingolstadt, before returning to the Straubing Tigers once again. In his four years in the DEL, he recorded 76 goals and 68 assists in 215 league games and also gained valuable experience in the CHL (22 Games | 2 G | 8 A) with both clubs.

Travis St. Denis: "When I heard about the Red Bulls' interest, I was immediately excited because I know that they work professionally in Salzburg and have built up a ‘winning culture’ over the years. I'm a striker who plays fast, but also works hard and does the little things right; like winning tackles, working reliably in defense and forcing the play in offense when the opportunity presents itself. I'm looking forward to the new challenge in the win2day ICE Hockey League, where the pace is high and the games are competitive, and I want to help the Red Bulls win another championship."
