In the series between Zell am See and HC Gherdeina valgardena.it, all four games so far have been won by the home teams. The Austrians took each game 2–1 – one of them in overtime – while the Italians started with a 5–0 home win and followed up with a narrow 2–1 victory on Thursday. Matteo Luisetti scored the game-winner in the 57th minute. If the fifth home win occurs on Saturday, Zell am See would hold two match pucks. If Val Gardena wins, they will have the chance on Tuesday at home to reach the finals for the first time.

In the second semifinal, the situation is identical. KHL Sisak and HC Meran/o Pircher are also tied 2–2. After the first four games were played in a doubleheader format, the series now continues in a H-A-H rhythm. Game five will take place on Saturday in Sisak. Of the first two home games, the Croatians won one decisively, 10–3, while Meran won the series opener in Sisak 4–2. The next two games were in Meran: Sisak won the first 4–1, followed by Meran claiming a 3–2 overtime win on Thursday. Rasmus Nousiainen scored the game-winner in the 64th minute. The Saturday winner secures two match pucks and will have the first opportunity on Tuesday to make their maiden final appearance a reality.
