Alps Hockey League, 27.11.2021:
Steel Wings Linz - Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, 5:00 p.m.
Referees: KUMMER, OREL, Voican, Weiss
The Steel Wings Linz and the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan open the AHL Saturday. In the standings, the Upper Austrians are still ahead of the Broncos by one point - at least on Friday - but Sterzing already plays their first game of the weekend on Friday. After visiting Salzburg the day before, the Broncos travel directly to Linz. The Broncos have only managed to pick up one point in their last six encounters, while the Austrians most recently celebrated a win against Vienna, after five defeats in a row.

Rittner Buam - HC Meran/o Pircher 6:00 p.m.
Referees: BAJT, GIACOMOZZI, Bergant, De Zordo
The Rittner Buam will meet the HE Meran/o for the second time this season. The first meeting in September the Buam could win by a narrow margin in the penalty shootout. The team from Ritten is also better placed in the standings. While the AHL premiere champion is the first chaser of leader Jesenice, Meran is in the midfield on rank nine. The AHL newcomer currently seems to be in strong shape, as they won six of their past seven games. Not least because they strengthened with EC-NHL and Bratislava Capitals crack Nikolai Zherdev, who promptly recorded a 5-point game (2G, 3A) in his first appearance.

Red Bull Hockey Juniors - EC-KAC Future Team 7:15 p.m.
Referees: BENVEGNU, PINIE, Kainberger, Wimmler
After the Red Bull Hockey Juniors are challenged against the Broncos on Friday, the Salzburgers host the EC-KAC Future Team 24 hours later. While Salzburg (before Friday's game) managed to record a series of five victories, Klagenfurt did not manage a single success in the same period. The last win was against Red Bull Hockey Juniors, who are looking for revenge for their last defeat in early November.

Vienna Capitals Silver - EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel 7:25 p.m.
Referees: HLAVATY, LOICHT, Pötscher, Telesklav
The Vienna Capitals Silver welcome the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel on Saturday. Both teams are currently still in search of shape. While the Viennese have only won two games in total this season and thus hold the red lantern, Kitzbühel has dropped off especially in the last weeks - in the last eight games the Eagles could only take three points. Thanks to a solid start to the season, however, Kitzbühel is not too far away from mid-table.

EK Die Zeller Eisbären - S.G. Cortina Hafro 7:30 p.m.
Referees: BRUNNER, LEHNER, Matthey, Reisinger
In the duel EK Die Zeller Eisbären against S.G. Cortina Hafro two teams of the Runs meet. While the polar bears had to take after three successes in a row three defeats, replaced with Cortina three victories equal to five defeats. In the table, however, the team from Salzburg, which is knocking on the top 6, is even better placed. Currently, five points separate the two teams.

EC Bregenzerwald - HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice 7:30 pm
Referees: MOSCHEN, WALLNER, Bassani, Tschrepitsch
EC Bregenzerwald will face the league leader on Saturday and this at a very unfavorable time. The eighth-placed team from Vorarlberg could only win one of the last four games and is currently looking for form. Jesenice, on the other hand, who were recently challenged in the national competition, recorded seven AHL wins in a row. They are already seven points ahead of their closest rivals. The first duel with Bregenzerwald this season was nevertheless an exciting encounter: The Slovenians won 1:0 in October thanks to a late goal.

BEMER VEU Feldkirch - EHC Lustenau 8:00 pm
Referees: LAZZERI, RUETZ, Cristeli, Spiegel
The Vorarlberg derby between Feldkirch and Lustenau will conclude Saturday's games. Geographically, however, Feldkirch and Lustenau are much closer together than in the Alps Hockey League standings. While Lustenau was able to climb to third place in the table after seven wins in the last eight games, Feldkirch most recently ended its eight-game losing streak. However, in the last derby between these two teams - in the previous season - Feldkirch still walked off the ice as the winner. And Feldkirch's last win this season was also a derby victory this week against Bregenzerwald.
