KHL Sisak – Red Bull Hockey Juniors
The top game of Round 13 takes place in Croatia, where KHL Sisak welcomes the league leaders from Salzburg. Just four points separate the two sides. Last weekend, Sisak celebrated back-to-back home wins over Ritten, while the Juniors extended their winning streak to six with a 2–1 victory against Sterzing on Tuesday. Head coach Josh Siembida’s squad has won five of six home games so far, whereas the visitors have taken three of five outings on the road. The first meeting of the season saw Sisak prevail 5–4 in a shootout away from home.

EK Die Zeller Eisbären – HC Meran/o Pircher
Defending champion Zell am See is currently in top form, winning five of its last six games to move up to fourth place. Meran, on the other hand, has gone four games without a win and sits second-to-last. Zell’s top scorer Tim Coffman suffered a lower-body injury in the last game against Unterland and will be sidelined for about a month. It’s the first encounter between the teams this season. In their last meeting in Zell, the South Tyroleans claimed a 4–2 road victory.

Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan – HDD Jesenice
Sterzing currently boasts the league’s best defense but has suffered two narrow defeats in a row, sitting eighth before Wednesday’s action. Jesenice trails by just one point but has already played two more games. The Slovenians are also coming off back-to-back losses. In the all-time AHL head-to-head, Jesenice has won 20 of the 25 encounters.

Rittner Buam SkyAlps – Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel
Ritten dropped two consecutive shootout games at Sisak and currently ranks third. Kitzbühel returns to the ice after a week off. The Tyroleans, fifth in the standings, have won two of their last three games. Ritten has secured five wins in seven home games, while Kitzbühel has struggled away from home, winning just once in six attempts. The KEC took the first-season meeting 5–2 on home ice.

S.G. Cortina Hafro – EC Bregenzerwald
Friday’s sole matchup brings Cortina up against EC Bregenzerwald. The Italians ended their losing streak last weekend, moving up to 11th place. With 15 points from nine games, the Vorarlberg side remains within striking distance of the top five. Cortina has won three of its four home games so far. In the past three home duels against the ECB, however, the visitors have come away with two wins.
