KHL Sisak fell behind 0–2 early in Asiago and trailed 1–3 at the first intermission. The Croatians tied the game in the middle frame with two quick goals. In the 51st minute, Panasenko scored his second goal of the night to put the visitors in front for the first time, and Larionov extended the lead shortly after. Parco made things interesting again, but Sisak ultimately held on for a 5–4 victory to stay atop the standings.
Less than 24 hours after their home win over Bregenzerwald, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors were back on the ice. On Saturday, they secured a clear 4–1 road win in Vipiteno. Nick Maul gave Salzburg an early lead before Davide Conci equalized for the Wipptal Broncos. After that, the guests took control: league top scorer Maxim Eliseev scored twice in the second period and completed his hat-trick in the third. The Juniors remain second in the table.
Rittner Buam SkyAlps celebrated their third win within a week, holding on to third place. After goals from Rein and Trivellato, the guests from Merano led 2–0 after about 23 minutes. In the middle period, Manuel Öhler scored a power-play goal to bring Ritten back within one. In the final frame, Dave MacQueen’s team pushed hard for the equalizer, which finally came five minutes from time through Welychka on the power play. Shortly after, Madsen netted the game-winner to complete the comeback.
Kitzbühel and Cortina delivered a thrilling contest. After a scoreless first period, the hosts opened the scoring before Cortina turned the game around with goals by Fortunato and Remolato in the second. Just twelve seconds into the third, Lippitsch equalized on the power play. Not long after, Krainz made it 3–2 for Kitzbühel — a lead that lasted until the final buzzer.
After the clear loss against the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, EC Bregenzerwald continued its road trip in Zell am See — successfully. After two scoreless periods, Tim Coffman gave the home side the lead in the 50th minute on the power play in front of nearly 2,000 fans. But in the closing stages, Bregenzerwald turned the game around: Alexander Tell scored twice (52nd, 55th), completing the comeback. In the final minute, Ben Summer sealed the 3–1 win with an empty-netter.
HDD Jesenice notched their third win in a row. With a convincing 5–1 home victory over Gröden, the Slovenians handed the South Tyroleans their third consecutive defeat. Bohinc put the hosts ahead in the opening period. After Schiavone’s temporary equalizer, Jesenice raced to a 4–1 lead in the second frame, with Svetina scoring shorthanded to all but secure the win. In the final period, Jenko added a power-play goal to make it 5–1.
