In front of 1,513 fans at Ledena Dvorana Zibel, the visitors got off to the better start, taking a 3–0 lead after the opening period. Brandon Alderson and Jacob Crespi (twice) scored for the Buam, who showed ruthless efficiency early on. However, Sisak demonstrated great character and turned the game around in the second frame.

Dominic Canic got the hosts on the board before Vito Idzan, on the power play, and Bohdan Panasenko with a quick double strike tied the game. Ritten regained the lead through Brett Welychka, but Danila Larionovs equalized again in the third period to force overtime.

After a scoreless extra session, Marijus Dumcius became the hero in the shootout, securing the extra point for Sisak. With the win, Head Coach Josh Siembida’s team strengthened their position in second place behind the Red Bull Hockey Juniors.
