Sisak stays unbeaten | Gherdeina defeats the champions

League leaders KHL Sisak remain unbeaten after four rounds, earning a 4-1 win in the top clash against HDD Jesenice. The Rittner Buam SkyAlps celebrated a narrow 4-3 home victory over the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, Cortina defeated the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers 4-2 on the road, Gherdeina prevailed 3-1 against reigning champions Zell, and the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan secured a clear 4-0 win in the South Tyrolean derby in Merano.

Sisak remains on top
Against Jesenice, Nikola Malenica opened the scoring in the first period. Kristijan Marinkovic and Ivan Idzan extended the lead in the third, while Bine Tomazevic pulled one back for the visitors. Denis Larionovs sealed the 4-1 win in the final minute.

Ritten rallies past Juniors
In Klobenstein, the Rittner Buam and Red Bull Hockey Juniors delivered a thrilling contest. Salzburg jumped out to a 3-0 lead thanks to two goals from Maxim Eliseev and another from Benedikt Krainer. Ritten responded with three goals in the middle frame from Marco Insam, Simon Kostner, and Marco Cuglietta. Cuglietta struck again in the 43rd minute to complete the comeback and secure the 4-3 victory.

Cortina wins in Unterland
The Hockey Unterland Cavaliers took the early lead through Luca Galassiti, but Cortina turned the game around with four goals in the second period. Giacomo Lacedelli, Oskari Kalajanniska, Kevin Pietroniro, and Lorenzo Barnabò all found the net, before Vincenzo Pisetta cut the deficit to 2-4 late in the game.

Gherdeina defeats Zell
HC Gherdeina valgardena.it claimed their second win of the season, defeating the defending Alps Hockey League champions. Adam Brady opened the scoring in the 8th minute, and Samuel Guimond doubled the lead on the power play. Zell pulled one back in the third period but ultimately fell 1-3.

Broncos dominate South Tyrolean derby
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan earned a convincing 4-0 win on the road against HC Meran/o Pircher. Franco Sproviero scored twice, while Brandon Gschliesser and Luciano Zandegiacomo added the other goals.
