Six clubs announce transfers and contract extensions

In total six clubs were active on the transfer market. The SHC Fassa Falcons announced three contraxt extensions and one new signing. Two extensions and one new signing were announced by the HC Merano. At the EHC Lustenau Philipp Koczera returns. The Steel Wings Linz signed a defender from North America. Returnee Vienna Capitals Silver announced ist basic squad. And HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice extended the contract with 20-years-old Nik Sirovnik.

Three contract extensions and one new signing at Fassa
The SHC Fassa Falcons signed the Hungarian goalkeeper Ádám Vay. The 27-years-old has a lot of experience from international leagues. Last season he played for HC 05 Banská Bystrica and HC Košice in Slovakia. Moreover the club announced the contract extension with homegrown players Davide Schiavone and Leonardo Felicetti. In addition to it Canadian born Daniel Tedesco stays with the Italians.

Koczera returns to Lustenau
After two years with the VEU Feldkirch, 27-years-old Philipp Koczera returns to the EHC Lustenau. The skilled forward played several times as a defender in the past championship and can therefore be used variably by Lustenau's coach Mike Flanagan. In 194 Alps hockey League games so far, Koczera has recorded 150 points (36G, 114 A).

Two contract extensions and one new signing at Merano
The HC Merano gives backup goalie Lorenzo Marinelli (19 years) and forward Cristian Verza (20) a chance in the Alps Hockey League squad for the upcoming season. In addition, 19-years-old Slovakian Adrian Klein joins the league newcomer from German side EC Peiting.

Steel Wings sign defender Tiley
The Steel Wings Linz signed Alec Tiley as their second import. The US-Canadian dual citizen already spent a year in Linz in his childhood, when his father Brad Tiley played for the Black Wings. Lastly, the 23-years-old defender played for the Laurentian University.

Vienna Capitals Silver announce basic squad
17 players are currently in the squad of returnee Vienna Capitals Silver. The majority of them are young players, but with Christoph Draschkowitz (32) they also have an absolute veteran in the squad. The forward was under contract with the VEU Feldkirch for the past eight years. The 17 player who are actually in the squad of VIC are as follows: Mathias Lichtenecker, Lorenz Widhalm, Erwin De Nardin, Mark Kompain, Libor Machan, Alexander Moser, Nils Schramm, Daniel Aschauer, Mathias Böhm, Patrick Böhm, Christoph Draschkowitz, Nils Granitz, Maximilian Kieweg, Martin Kosnar, Alexander Maxa, Lukas Pohl and Leon Widhalm.

Sirovnik stays with Jesenice
20-years-old Nik Sirovnik extended his contract with HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. It will be his 3rd season with the Slovenians.
