Referees: BENVEGNU, PINIE, Piras, Weiss. I >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

In the duel between Sterzing and Gröden, two teams meet for the first time this season that have been falling short of their own expectations for weeks. The Broncos have lost their last eight games after regular time and have thus slipped to 14th place in the table. The eleventh-placed visitors from Wolkenstein are coming in with three defeats under their belt, having won only three of their last twelve games. Due to injuries to Joel Brugnoli and Patrick Nocker, Ondrej Nedved returned to Hockey Club Gherdëina. The Czech, who collected 26 scorer points in 44 games for the "Furie" last season, will already make his debut on Saturday.

Sat, 26.12.2020, 19:00: Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey - HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana
Referees: LAZZERI, MOSCHEN, Cristeli, De Zordo. I >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

In the duel of two AHL champions Asiago will meet Olimpija. The Italians won their last four championship games and also prevailed in the Return2Play encounter against Cortina. Thanks to their recent run of success, the red-and-yellow team climbed up to fourth place. Opponent Ljubljana took the lead in the standings with a clear win against Ritten on Tuesday. The Slovenians seem to be the measure of all things again this season, providing both the best offense and the best defence. In the direct comparison Olimpija is clearly ahead with 7:1 victories.

  • H2H AHL ASH - HKO: 1:7

Sat, 26.12.2020, 19:30: VEU Feldkirch - EC Bregenzerwald
Referees: SCHAUER, WALLNER, Huber, Wimmler. I >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

With six wins in a row, EC Bregenzerwald currently has the longest winning streak in the AHL. This puts ECB in fifth place, and head coach Markus Juurikkala's team is even number one in Vorarlberg. On St. Stephen's Day, Bregenzerwald will play at VEU Feldkirch, where all eight appearances in the Alps Hockey League have been lost so far. Seventh-placed VEU boosted their confidence with a derby away win in Lustenau on Tuesday. Lampert's troops have won five of their seven home games this season - the R2P home game against Bregenzerwald even by 8-1. With 30 points from 13 games, VEU forward Jakob Stukel leads the scorers' standings.

  • H2H AHL VEU - ECB: 13:3

Sat, 26.12.2020, 20:00: Rittner Buam - HC Pustertal
Referees: EGGER, LEGA, Bedana, Fleischmann. I >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

After three victories before, Ritten had to admit defeat to the two top clubs Asiago and Ljubljana recently. Santeri Heiskanen's team conceded twelve goals in these games. With a total of 64 goals against, the Buam have the second weakest defence in the league. Now they will meet HC Pustertal, who have won four games in a row. Luciano Basile's team even celebrated a 6:0 smashing victory against HC Gherdëina in the last championship game. The black and yellow team climbed up to third place in the table. In the two duels so far this season, both sides won their home game. However, the Wolves won two of the last three duels in Klobenstein.

  • H2H AHL RIT - PUS: 7:9

Sat, 26.12.2020, 20:00: EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel - EHC Lustenau
Referees: LEHNER, WUNTSCHEK, Matthey, Moidl. I >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

Kitzbühel and Lustenau meet for the third time this season, both teams won their home game. It was also the KEC's first win in the 14th AHL duel. Due to the better goal difference, Kitzbühel could claim the three points in the return-to-play phase. The Tyroleans are currently just close behind the Lustenau team with 15 points from 8 games and can look back on a very mixed season so far. Including the return-to-play series, they have seven wins and just as many losses. With Mikael Johansson, they have a top scorer, who ranks very high in the statistics with 11 goals and 8 assists. Lustenau coach Mike Flanagan will probably have to do without Martin Grabher-Meier and Elias Wallenta.

  • H2H AHL KEC - EHC: 1:13

Sat, 26.12.2020, 20:15: S.G. Cortina Hafro - SHC Fassa Falcons
Referees: GIACOMOZZI, STEFENELLI, Mantovani, Slaviero. I >> PPV LIVESTREAM <<

After Cortina failed to win three games before, there was a 6:3 victory over Sterzing just before Christmas. The Italians are only in ninth place in the table, but they have proved to be very strong at home so far, earning at least one point in every game at home. At the beginning of November, they celebrated a 4:3 victory over Fassa, but lost the return match 1:5. The Falcons, currently in 13th place, attracted attention at the end of November with a home win over Pustertal. In their next two games they suffered narrow defeats against Asiago and Ritten.
