Val Gardena, on the other hand, conceded its second defeat in a row, the fourth from the past five games. In the table, the "Furie" is in eighth place. After goalless first 20 minutes, it was Dylan Stanley who gave Feldkirch the lead in the 29th minute of the game. But the answer of the home side followed promptly. Less than a minute later, Ville Korhonen equalized and just over three minutes later, Max Oberrauch gave the hosts the lead. This lead lasted until the 42nd minute before Timo Sticha equalized for VEU. It was the forward's third goal of the season. The 17-year-old scored all three goals in the past six games.

With the score of 2:2 the regular playing time ended. Since no decision could be made in overtime, it had to be decided in the shootout. In this, Dylan Stanley scored the decision in favor of the VEU, who won for the first time after four defeats in a row against Gherdeina.
