Soudek has five points in Feldkirch win against KAC II

In Sunday’s only Alps Hockey League game Robin Soudek’s five-points (2 goals, 3 assists) gave the VEU Feldkirch a clear 6:3 road-win against EC-KAC II. While the VEU celebrated the second victory this weekend, the Carinthians suffered their 12th consecutive defeat. Feldkirch moved to fourth place in standings, KAC II remains last.

Sunday’s only Alps Hockey League game was about 7 minutes old, when Robin Soudek took the lead for the guests. Despite Feldkirch had much more chances in the first, Tommaso Topatigh made the equalizer for EC KAC II. After a non-goal middle frame, the VEU restored the lead again by Soudek on a power play situation early in the third. Fabian Hochegger tied it up again about 15 minutes to go. By return, the VEU Feldkirch made the preliminary decision, while potting three more goals in less than three minutes. Hochegger netted one more for the hosts and Dylan Stanley rounded off the score with his second goal of the night.
