The Intermediate Round in SKY Alps Hockey League opens on Tuesday with the Austrian clash EK Zeller Eisbären vs. EC-KAC II. The Polar Bears start the Qualification Round B with the maximum of five bonus points, Klagenfurt on the bottom with 0. Just the winner of group B makes the Play-offs. Each club plays four home- and four road games. Their opponents are HC Neumarkt Riwega (4 bonus points), WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan (1) and EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel (0). The first two season-clashes won the road-team.

The „Wälder“ start the second round of the regular season with zero bonus points, the Italians with the maximum of six bonus points. The other opponents are HC Gherdeina valgardena.it (2), Red Bull Hockey Juniors (3) and HC Fassa Falcons (0). Each team plays four home- and four road-games. Just the winner of group A makes it into the Play-offs. In the first two season-meeting the Italians were successful. Lately both teams did not have reasons to celebrate: The Austrains lost their last five games, three times even without scoring, the Italians were defeated in their last two matches.
HC Gherdeina valgardena.it – Red Bull Hockey Juniors
The fight for the last Play-off-ticket in the Qualification Round A is really very hard, five teams fight for one spot! HC Gherdeina valgardena.it starts this fight with two bonus points, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors with three bonus points. Their other opponents are Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro (6), HC Fassa Falcons (0) and EC Bregenzerwald (0). The Italians are the team of the hour, won their last six games. The Mozart Citizens collected imporant experience lately, taking part in the Finish Under-20-Championship. The first two season-clashes won the road-teams.
HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice – EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau
HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice and EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau have the Playoff-spot already fix. Together with Rittner Buam, HC Pustertal Wolves, FBI VEU Feldkirch and Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 the two clubs fight now in the Master Round for the Pick Right and home-advantage for the Quarterfinals. The Slovenes start the Master Round from place 3 with two bonus points, the Lions from place 4 with one bonus point. The Red Steelers were on Fire lately, won their last five games, scoring totally 30 goals. The west-club lost lately at Zell am See. The first two season-meetings were won by the home-teams.
Rittner Buam – FBI VEU Feldkirch
Rittner Buam had reasons to celebrate last weekend, the Italians defended the title in Italy successful. Also in SKY Alps Hockey League the Italian Champion has the ticket for the Play-offs already secured. The Master Round the Italians start with the maximum of six bonus points on place 1. Their first opponent is now on Wednesday at home FBI VEU Feldkirch. The west-club made the Master Round as the sixth placed team and starts the fight for the Pick Right and home-advantage for the Quarterfinals with 0 points. Their other opponets are HC Pustertal Wölfe (4), HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice (2), EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau (1) and Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 (0). Each club makes five home- and road-games. The first two season-meetings won the road-teams.
HC Pustertal Wolves – Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935
In the only Italian clash HC Pustertal Wolves faces Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 on Wednesday. Both teams have the Play-of-tickey already fix.
