While the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan extended the contracts with three key players, league newcomer HC Meran completed its squad planning. In addition, both EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and EHC Lustenau signed Latvian forwards.

The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan extended the contracts with Captain Fabian Hackhofer (D), Markus Gander (F) and Tobias Kofler (F). The team from Sterzing is thus working at full speed on the team for the coming season.



Squad of Merano complete
Left wing Devin DiDiomete is the last new signing of league newcomer HC Merano. The 33-years-old native of Canada was out of contract last season. Between 2016 and 2019 the left-shooter already played in the Alps Hockey League, for the Fassa Falcons and Hafro Cortina Hockey. In 119 games he scored 105 points (54G / 51A).



Next new arrival from Latvia for the KEC
The EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel signed the fourth young Latvian as forward Ralfs Jevdokimovs moves from HK Zemgale to Tirol. The 20-year-old played the last three years in the highest Latvian league and scored 38 points (17G, 21A) in 110 games.



Latvian forward on tryout basis in Lustenau
Karlis Bucenieks will strengthen the offense of EHC Lustenau. The club signed the 20-year-old, who played for some junior national teams of his home country Latvia, on a tryout basis. Last season he played 44 MHL games for HK Riga and also appeared four times for Dinamo Riga in the KHL.
