The game continued with penalties on both sides, first Spurgeon, then on the other end Kuralt missed. In the middle of the period, Fehervar kept attacking and the pressure resulted in another goal, Sarauer found Erdely open, the young Hungarian did not miss the breakaway. The Hungarians didn’t stop, Hári put a rebound in the net. Rob Pallin used his timeout and changed the goalie, Luka Gracnar was in the net. This gave some energy to the guests; however, the Devils used every mistake, the puck got to Phillips in front of the net and he scored his team’s fifth goal.
The second period started on powerplay for Fehervar but not for long, as Sarauer had to sit in the penalty box, too.
