Goalie returns to Milano
Frederico Tesini will be one of the goalies of Hockey Milano Rossoblu in the upcoming season. The 25-year old Italian returns to his home-club after two years playing for Varese and Como in Italians Serie 2.
Kitzbühel has added much offensiv-power to their team
EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel added much offensiv-power to their team! Czech Adam Havlik arrives from Mulhouse to the Tyrolean city. The 27-year old forward is known as a reliable scorer. Last season, Havlik was a key-player in Mulhouse in France, scoring 33 points (12G/21A) out of 45 games. When playing for HC Orli Znojmo in the 2014/15-season, he scored most Assists (42) in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Besides, the Czech has already gone for goals in his home-country Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and Denmark. Besides, Manuel Rosenlechner (AUT) went from EK Die Zeller Eisbären to Kitzbühel. For the Polar Bears, the 22-year old forward netted his first goal in the Alps Hockey League past season. Furthermore, Youngster Patrick Bolterle arrived from Vienna in Kitzbühel. The 22-year old forward has already earned one EBYSL- and one Erste Bank Eishockey League title with EV Vienna Capitals 2017! Besides, the young Austrian has already played two Alps Hockey League games for EC-KAC II 2016/17.
DiDiomete went from Fassa to Cortina, Barnabo stays
Power-Forward Devin DiDiomete went from HC Fassa Falcons to Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro. The 30-year old Italo-Canadian is known as a reliable (goal-)scorer. For the Falcons, he had 35 points (17G/18A, PIM: 95) out of 36 Alps Hockey League-games last season. DiDiomete has experience from playing overseas, in Great Britain, Sweden and Slovakia as well. Besides, Center Luca Barnabo (ITA/GER) will go for goals and points for the Italian club in the upcoming season as well. The 22-year old forward played his first Alps Hockey League-season for his home-club 2017/18, scoring seven points (2G/5A) out of 40 games.
Contract extensions in Fassa and Asiago
Marco Marzolini continues playing for HC Fassa Falcons 2018/19 as well. The 22-year old defenseman is one of the biggest hockey talents in Italy. For his home-club, the Italian national team player defended 30 times in the Alps Hockey League past season and he scored eight points (4G/4A). Besides, the Italians Lorenzo Casetti (D), Davide Conci (F) and Francesco Forte (F) will continue to play for Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 in the upcoming season as well.
The Pre Season is on!
The first friendly games 2018 are done. Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro and HC Gherdeina valgardena.it have already earned wins against their League-rivals. Besides, EC-KAC II and Red Bull Hockey Juniors have celebrated victories as well. The Pre Season will continue with two friendly games on Thursday. HK SZ Olimpija (Ljubljana) will start their preparation with a tournament in Kapfenberg. There, the Dragons will face host KSV hockey on Thursday. Besides, Seewen from Switzerland (Fri) and Brasov from Romania (Sat) will be an opponent for the Slovenes in the Styrian City. Furthermore, the league-rivals Gherdeina and Fassa will fight for a win on Thursday. Eight friendly games follow on Friday: Three clubs - HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, HC Pustertal Wolves and VEU Feldkirch - will play their Pre Season opener on August 17th.
