“Every coach expects his team to play fast, hard, and competitive hockey – and that’s exactly my philosophy,” said the new head coach of Hydro Fehérvár AV19. “I want to build a team where players work for each other, everyone knows their role, and everyone is valued. I believe that every player contributes to success – only together can we be truly strong. To achieve that, we need clear structures and consistent principles where details and good habits make the difference. I want people to say: They’re a tough team to play against. Whether we’re leading or trailing, we want to play hard, organized, and determined hockey, control the puck, and give nothing away. The opponent should have to earn every chance and every goal against us. We must be organized in every situation – on the power play, the penalty kill, and in our breakout play.”
