HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice (10.) will welcome EK Die Zeller Eisbären (13.) in the Alps Hockey League on Saturday (18:00). A Teddy Bear Toss takes place in the Steel City. Besides, the Italian and Austrian finals are on the schedule this weekend too.

A Teddy Bear Toss takes place in Jesenice on Saturday. Fans should bring Teddy Bears or other stuffed animals to the arena and throw them on the ice after the first goal scored by the Red Steelers. The stuffed animals will be collected together and used for a charity event.

• JES will try to get their first home-win 2019, while EKZ will fight for their first road-win in January. The Slovenes have been defeated in both home-games this month by the Red Bull Hockey Juniors (3:4, 5:6). The Pinzgauer have even lost four straight road-games since middle of December.
• JES has won all (three) home-games in the Alps Hockey League against EKZ, the Austrians haven’t even got a point in Jesenice.
• JES has left the ice as the winner in four straight contests with EKZ.

Italian and Austrian Finals are on the schedule this weekend
The Italian and Austrian finals are on the schedule this weekend. Red Bull Hockey Juniors and EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau will be in a fight for the title Austrian Champion of the Alps Hockey League. The first game takes place in Salzburg on Saturday (19:15). The re-match will follow in Lustenau on Sunday (17:30). The „Lions“ have won both season-meetings in the Alps Hockey League so far  (4:2,4:3/OT).
In  Italy, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 and Rittner Buam will fight for the Scudetto. The first game is played in Asiago on Saturday (20:30). The re-match will follow in Klobenstein on Sunday (18:00). The Rittner Buam are defending Italian Champion. The two Italians have already meet each other twice this season, each club has won at home so far.
