Defenseman Sebastiano Soracreppa (most recently with Ritten) and forward Martin Castlunger (most recently with Cortina) are joining Gardena. Both players came up through the youth system of the Fassa Falcons and have played over 470 AHL games together. With Sacha Guimond, the Furie have also secured their first import for the new season. The Canadian defenseman brings a wealth of international experience, having most recently played in the British Elite Ice Hockey League and previously in several top European leagues. He is expected to lead the defense and is known for his power play abilities.

Two new signings at Meran
Brayden Sherbinin (32 years old) will strengthen Meran’s defense. The Canadian, known for his strong skating and first passes, has played in Canada, France, Great Britain, and Denmark. Last season, he tallied 30 points in 50 games for GAP in France. Now, he is expected to bring stability to the Eagles.

Additionally, Noah Frick (17) is transferring from Eppan to Meran. The tall defenseman collected 11 points in 25 Serie B games last season and won gold with Italy’s U18 and bronze with the U20 at the junior world championships.

Young scorer for Asiago
Fallou Mbow (19) is a talented forward moving from Trento to Asiago. At the last U20 World Championship tournament, he scored 10 points (5 goals, 5 assists) in 5 games for Italy, finishing second on the scoring list. Lorenzo Casetti will also continue to play for Asiago.

Several contract extensions
Goalie Colin Furlong (league MVP in the 2019/20 season) has extended his contract with the Rittner Buam SkyAlps. Giovanni Mandruzzato (F/Meran), David Trivellato (F/Meran), Thomas Pisetta (F/Unterland), Davide Girardi (F/Unterland), Ivan Puzic (KHL Sisak), Matteo Mitrovic (Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel), and Fredrik Widén (D/Zell am See) have also remained loyal to their teams.
