The 2022-23 season of the win2day ICE Hockey League is in the all-important phase, as the "best-of-7" quarterfinal series start on Tuesday. Not only for the players and teams that have made it to the playoffs, but also for the remaining eleven referees and eleven linesmen, the participation is something very special.

Eleven referees and eleven linesmen have qualified for the playoffs of the win2day ICE Hockey League and will work the quarterfinal matches starting Tueday. For all involved, it is a great honour to be part of the referee team in the decisive phase of the season. Only the season's best have made it this far.

The following is an overview of the ICE quarterfinal referees:

Overtime rule
In the playoffs, if the score is tied after three regular 20 minutes periods, an endless overtime with sudden death will be played. In non-elimination games, the number of skaters will be reduced to three players plus one goalie per team after the first complete overtime of 20 minutes. In elimination games, five-on-five shall be played until a team scores.
