Alps Hockey League | Samstag, 19. Dezember:
Sat, 19.12.2020, 7.00 pm: Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey – Rittner Buam
Referees: GIACOMOZZI F., LAZZERI, Manovani, Slaviero. | >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<
With Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey hosting the Rittner Buam two teams in good form meet each other: In the "Home-and-Away-Round", the Italians have won their last five games, only giving up one point twice. The Rittner Buam have won each of their last three games. In their lone duel of the season so far, Asiago won clearly 4-1 - Steven McParland (9G | 9A) and Marek Vankus (4G | 2A) each scored a brace, but will be out due to injury. On the other hand, Michele and Stefano Marchetti should be back in the lineup. Meanwhile, the go-to guy for the "Buam" is MacGregor Sharp, who scored five goals and dished three assists in the last three games. Both teams will have to try to stay out of the penalty box. They have a lot of catching up to do when shorthanded (ASH 72.9% and RIT (72.1%), respectively). Ritten's two most recent additions - defender Lasse Uusivirta and goalie Luke Cavallin - should get their second start of the season.

Sat, 19.12.2020, 7.30 pm: EC Bregenzerwald – EHC Lustenau
Referees: HOLZER, HUBER, Eisl, Spiegel. | >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<
In Vorarlberg, EC Bregenzerwald takes on EHC Lustenau. It is already the third meeting of the season between these two teams, Lustenau won the two in the "Return-2-Play" phase. But the "Wälder" have meanwhile picked up speed, winning their last five games and scoring an average of 5,6 goals. Recently, the seventh-placed team has strengthened itself with forward Tuukka Rajamäki. The Finn replaces Lukas Löfquist, who has asked for a contract termination. ECB is also missing Bernhard Posch and Jonas Kutzer (both at the U20 World Cup) and the injured Benjamin Winkler, Kai Hämmerle, Rene Tröthan and Felix Vonbun. Lustenau travels to the Messehalle Dornbirn with a broad chest, turned around the derby against VEU Feldkirch eleven days ago with a fantastic final frame.

  • AHL H2H: ECB – EHC 5:9

Sat, 19.12.2020, 7.30 pm: HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana – S.G. Cortina Hafro

Reigning AHL champion HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana has the chance to move up to second place in the standings with a win on Saturday. For the first time this season, the "dragons" will meet S.G. Cortina Hafro. Both teams last played on Thursday, with Ljubljana outclassing Kitzbühel 9-2 and Cortina earning a 1-1 draw against Asiago to secure the three points from the left "return-to-play" duel. On the power play, both have been convincing so far (SGC 23.1% and HKO 22.2%, respectively), while in penalty killing Cortina in particular still has room for improvement (71.7%).
