The first of three games on Tuesday will be played between the 15th in the table, EC-KAC II and league leader HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana. With a full success in Klagenfurt, the Slovenians would be the first team to qualify for the pre-playoffs, the Top-12. However, the goal of the AHL champion of 2019 is certainly to finish the Regular Season in the Top-4 and thus to be qualified for the quarterfinals. KA2 still has all chances to qualify for the Pre-Playoffs despite four losses in a row. Currently, the gap to the twelfth-placed HC Gherdeina valgardena.it is nine points, but with two games less played than the South Tyroleans. The duel KA2 against HKO already took place in the "Return-2-Play" this season. In both games, Ljubljana clearly kept the upper hand. After a 4:1 win in the first leg in Klagenfurt, the "Dragons" celebrated a clear victory over the KA2 in the second leg with 12:3. With five wins from the last five AHL games and 13 out of a possible 15 points, Ljubljana is also in front in the form standings.

Tue, 23.02.2021, 19:30: EC Bregenzerwald – Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan
Referees: HOLZER, WALLNER, Kainberger, Martin. I >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<
The match between the EC Bregenzerwald and the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan should have taken place on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021, but had to be moved up to Tuesday due to a postponement of one match of the Dornbirn Bulldogs in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. It is the second meeting of the two teams this season. On January 23rd, the Broncos celebrated a narrow 3:2 home win after overtime. However, the guests from Vorarlberg were in front both with 1:0 and with 2:1. Overall, it will be the tenth AHL duel. WSV leads in the H2H with 7:2 and could win the last five duels. The current form also speaks for the guests from Sterzing. Before the narrow 2:3 loss at EHC Lustenau last Saturday, WSV had a winning streak of three games. Bregenzerwald lost four of the last five games. In the standings it comes to a neighborhood duel. In addition, for both teams it is about important points in the fight for the pre-playoffs. Because currently the ECB has 35 points and is tenth in the table. The WSV follows with 32 points on place eleven. The lead over the thirteenth-placed team, SHC Fassa Falcons, is only five points (ECB) and two points (WSV).

  • H2H AHL ECB – WSV: 2:7
